A Suggested Model for Employing Digital Incentives Platforms in Facing the Cultural Challenges among Young People
Abstract
In the context of the cultural challenges facing society in the current period, relying on some digital solutions to address these challenges is one of the main solutions to address these challenges and prevent them from negatively impacting society. In the context of the proliferation of incentives digital platforms and their motivational advantages, it is necessary to build a framework to employ motivational platforms in addressing some cultural challenges. Therefore, the current research came as an attempt to examine the impact of the use of incentives platforms on the awareness of cultural challenges and the mechanisms of confronting them among middle school students. The current research focused on three challenges related to cultural globalisation, Arabic language assimilation, and cultural dependency. The research adopted the quasi-experimental method to compare the two research groups, where the experimental group was taught using the motivational platform, and the control group was taught using the usual method based on awareness meetings. The research sample consisted of (64) middle school students, who were randomly distributed to the two research groups (32 students in each group). A 30-item cultural challenges awareness test was developed. The results showed that the experimental group that used the incentives platform was favoured compared to the control group in terms of developing awareness of cultural challenges and ways to confront them. The research recommended the need to expand the use of motivational platforms as sustainable environments to enhance awareness of cultural challenges. Also, guidelines should be developed on the use of incentives platforms in the processes of improving awareness related to cultural challenges.
