Abstract
The aim of this study is to understand the current status of women's crafts and industries in light of Vision 2030 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the challenges that women's crafts face in transitioning into investment projects. The study was conducted on a representative and relevant sample of individuals involved in the craft sector in Saudi Arabia. These individuals were selected using a simple random sampling method by reaching out to institutions and centers within the craft sector to which the workers belong. The researcher sent out questionnaire links and collected 34 completed and valid questionnaires for statistical analysis. These questionnaires addressed the reality of women's crafts and industries in light of Vision 2030 and the challenges they encounter when transforming into investment projects. The study yielded several results, including:
- The reality of women's crafts and industries in light of Vision 2030 is considered tangible and is supported through programs and partnerships that support craft projects aimed at preserving cultural heritage and supporting craft programs. The overall average of their responses was (2.61 out of 3) with a standard deviation of (0.39), indicating a high level of agreement.
- There are some challenges facing women's crafts in transforming them into investment projects. The sample individuals agreed to some extent on (71.4) of the challenges facing the transformation of women's crafts into investment projects. The average responses of the sample individuals to these challenges fell within the range of (1.67 to less than 2.34), indicating some level of agreement.
