Spatial Distribution of the Road Network and Its Impact on the Area and Agricultural (Plant) Production in the Governorate of Kirkuk

Abstract

Land transportation by cars has become essential and important for the success of the transport of agricultural products, so studying the reality of transport, its patterns and intensity is important to define this role and its importance, that presenting the current reality of transport and agricultural products in Kirkuk governorate gives a full impression of the transport of agricultural products, the size of the variance, its causes, places and ways to solve problems Transportation, so the research came to clarify the distribution of a transport network and its impact on agricultural products, starting from the distribution of roads and classifying them by type and measuring their density from the public area and the area suitable for agriculture, in addition to the distribution of cultivated areas and the amount of agricultural production, and distribution according to the administrative units Area (Kirkuk) in the governorate of Kirkuk and comparison between them in order to know the relationship between transport and agricultural products, wherever the road density increases, the area and agricultural production increase.
