Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the flipped classroom strategy on self-efficacy among twelfth grade students in mathematics in the Sultanate of Oman. The study adapted the quasi-experimental approach, which is an appropriate approach to the nature and objectives of this study. The study sample size consisted of (52) male and female students, they were divided into two groups, a control group that was taught by the usual method, and an experimental group that was taught by the flipped classroom method. Statistical analyzes were conducted using SPSS program to perform descriptive analyzes, and repeated measures ANOVA was used to test the study hypotheses. The results of the study revealed a positive effect of using the flipped classroom strategy on self-efficacy. The results of the study were discussed and interpreted in the theoretical framework and the results of previous studies. The study included a number of recommendations and some suggestions for future studies.
