Mullah Abdullah Al-Hartli and his Scientific Efforts
Abstract
Thanks and praise be to God the Almighty, the educator of the whole world, peace be upon the pure soul of the forerunner of humanity (Muhammad) - peace be upon him - and upon his companions and followers until the Last Day. This study expresses the life story of a great person and a shining star of Kurdistan who devoted his entire life to the service of the holy religion of Islam and his nation by writing books, teaching, and useful advice. In spite of the unstable state of peace, political and economy, he did not stop serving even for a day until he returned to the service of the Lord, the person is Mulla Abdullah Hartali. The Mula was born in Hartal village of Betwata district in 1955, in a famous and religious family. From a young age, he began to study religion in the Hertel village’s Hujra. He studied the entire Mulayi study program by religious teachers in several cities and villages of Kurdistan. He was an intelligent and capable student and continued his studies until reached a high level in the religious sciences and gained the ability to give fatwas and teaching. The Mula has become a respected and trusted person among all the people of Kurdistan. He was a simple and humble man. He was not ashamed to say the truth and was not affiliated with any of the political parties in Kurdistan. The first section is dedicated to the story of Mulla Abdullah Hartali, and a summary of his life, which consists of three subjects, as follows: first subject is about the era of Mulla Abdullah Hertali; second subject is about the private life of the Mulla, and third Story subject is about the scientific side of Mulla Abdullah Hertali. The second section discusses the scientific efforts of Mulla Abdullah Hartali, which consists of three subjects: the first subject is about the efforts of the Mulla in terms of Islamic jurisprudence; the second subject is about the efforts of the Mulla in terms of Islamic beliefs; and the third subject is about efforts of the Mulla in terms of the life of the Prophet - peace be upon him. The third section, entitled ‘the views of Mulla Abdullah Hartley’ includes three subjects: the first subject discusses his views in terms of Islamic ideology; the second subject discusses his views on Islamic jurisprudence; and the third subject discusses the political views of the Mulla. Final section (conclusion) discusses the most important conclusions reached by the researcher. The Mulla Abdullah Hartali, passed away on (14 / Sha'ban 1441 AH) equal (7/4/2021 AD), which was a sad day throughout Kurdistan.
