Developing a Strategy of criticism and Tasting Semiotics in Reading the Artistic Image of some of the Paintings of the Exhibition of Mosques that Travel to it

Abstract

Appreciation or lack of appreciation of arts are attributed to the availability of artistic culture. Their relationship is a progressive one: the greater the artistic cultural awareness, the more artistic taste, and the less artistic  cultural awareness, the less artistic taste. Through the procedure adopted by the researcher in her research (The Development of the Strategy of Semiotic Critique and Taste in Reading the Artistic Image of Some Paintings shown in the Exhibition ʻMosques to Which Journeys are Undertakenʼ [or: ʻMosques to Which Mounts are Saddledʼ], one could see a clear difference in the first meeting’s case of a semiotic critique and taste in a recipient sample if compared with the second meeting that followed a planned, scientific method. The situation has developed and changed to the best and in a parallel line to the researcher's belief. In addition, by monitoring the responses of the recipient sample, their critique, and their taste of semiotics in the paintings presented by the researcher, taken from the exhibition ʻMosques to which Journeys are Undertakenʼ, the researcher found out that the sample was positively affected by what it had received in the two meetings. The impact was evident even on its psychological reaction, response and interaction with the process of critique and tasting as it developed through the researcher's inputs. This has created a beautiful effect on the researcher because the success of her experiment would push her forward towards improving her performance and publishing her results in her field so that she could improve the scientific and practical giving in her own enterprise and in similar enterprises. This, also, would make her society gain the successful outcomes of experiments and useful research that would improve its taste and help it in  dealing with its problems in order to make progress and raise its status among nations.
