The Effectiveness of the Strategy of Sorting Concepts in the Aesthetic Environmental Sense of Fifth-Grade Primary Students in Science
Abstract
The aim of the research is to know the effectiveness of the strategy of sorting concepts in the aesthetic environmental sense of fifth-grade primary students in science, and to achieve the research goal the following hypothesis has been formulated:
((There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0,05) between the average scores of students of the experimental group that were studied according to the strategy of sorting concepts and the average scores of students of the control group that were studied in the traditional way in the scale of aesthetic environmental sense among fifth-grade primary students in the science subject ))
The researchers used the experimental design with partial control of two equal groups, and according to this design the researchers chose (School of the martyr Abdul-Saheb Al-Yasiri) to be the research community and it is one of the government day schools of the General Directorate of Education Diwaniyah - Center for the academic year (2019-2020) which was determined intentionally and that It contained three divisions (A, B, and C). Two divisions were chosen by random assignment to represent the research sample. Division A represented the experimental group and included (43 pupils) studied according to the conceptualization strategy. Division (B) represented the control group and included (42 pupils) They studied the same way Lydia.
The researchers rewarded the two groups in variables: chronological age, intelligence, prior academic achievement, aesthetic environmental sense, the experiment was applied in the first semester of the academic year (2019 - 2020), and after the end of the experiment the research tool was applied to the two research groups, and the data was statistically processed using T-test for two independent samples, t-test, and using the Statistical Bag Program for Social Sciences and the Microsoft Office Excel 2007 data processor program. The research results showed the superiority of the experimental group that was studied according to a strategy of sorting concepts over the control group that was studied in the traditional way in S aesthetic and environmental sense.
