Theatrical Accessories and their Activities in the Event Theater Shows

(A curfew as a model play)

Abstract

The presence of theatrical accessories in contemporary theatrical experiences constituted a  characteristic phenomenon of the effectiveness of the performance of the secondary elements in enhancing the form of performance and the development of the performing arts, being signs and images hidden in the collective memory. They are parts attached to elements that were dominant in the structure of the theatrical scene, so the scope of the theatrical attachments function expanded and their importance was enhanced, and to unite with the actor with a dialectical relationship and give him a distinctive performance ability. Theatrical accessories, along with other elements of the show, have contributed to the creation of the performance environment and its transformed space, and thus the theatrical accessories achieved their clear effectiveness in The Happening theater shows as an experimental method different from what is prevalent that adopts topics affecting the life of the individual and society and seeks to establish a system of communication with the recipient through the positioning of theatrical accessories In the format of a function in which dance and music arts, as well as plastic arts, are employed according to the rules of (conceptual art). Thus, the research problem arose by raising the question about the extent of theatrical accessories 'functioning in The Happening theater performances, then the researcher identified in the theoretical framework two studies, the first in which he reviewed the nature of theatrical accessories' work and the extent of its diversity in theater shows (real and epic) As for the second topic, the characteristics of the scene of the event were determined and the opinions of the most important directors (Alan Capro, John Cage) were determined. After that, the researcher was able to identify the indicators of the theoretical framework which he adopted in the analysis of the research sample. As for the third chapter, it contained the research procedures, as it included one sample and was intentionally chosen(Hazr Tajwal) (curfew). By analyzing the research sample, the researcher was able to arrive at the results of his research. As for the fourth chapter, it contains the results and conclusions. The search was concluded with a list of sources.
