Evaluating the Respondus program for smart monitoring in electronic tests from the viewpoint of the faculty of Imam Al-Kazim (peace be upon him) / Babel departments

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to evaluate the Respondus program for smart monitoring in electronic tests from the viewpoint of the professors of the Imam al-Kazim College (peace be upon him) / sections of Babel, in order to identify the extent of the professors of the Imam al-Kazim College (pbuh) / Babel departments assessing the Respondus program for smart monitoring in electronic tests From their point of view and stand on the areas of strength and weakness in it, and whether there are differences according to the variables of gender and experience in evaluating the Responds program.  The research sample included (20) male and female teachers, and a special questionnaire was built for the current research topic (prepared by the researcher himself), and the questionnaire was distributed to the professors through their personal accounts on social media as a result of the continued conditions of home quarantine due to the shock of the Corona virus, and the questionnaire was formed. Of (7) main axes and included (56) sub-indicators, the main axes of the tool included competencies of basic knowledge of the program, competencies for planning tests, competencies of smart monitoring methods, competencies for building random tests, competencies for implementing program content, competencies for cooperation and communication with students, and competencies of practices Professional and ethical in controlling fraud. Signs of the validity of the tool were reached, in addition to extracting the stability of the tool, and the results of the current research indicated that the average score of the Responds evaluation program in the Imam Al-Kazim College (PBUH) / Babil departments reached (4.12) with a high percentage, as well as on the sub-axes of the scale used. All scores are high, and that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the assessment scores of professors at the Imam Al-Kazim College (PBUH) / sections of Babylon for the Responds program according to the gender variable, and that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the professors ’evaluation scores In the College of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) / sections of Babylon for the Responds program, depending on the variable of experience, the researcher made a number of recommendations and proposals regarding the necessity of employing the Responds program for smart monitoring in electronic tests as part of future teaching strategies, And the necessity to rely on this program in monitoring the examination halls when returning to the study seats in the future because it provides advantages and techniques that ensure the integrity of the tests, and it is imposed on the teaching staff to formulate random and new questions of different order and choices when they are submitted to students to answer them, as well as the current research suggested conducting more studies and research in this area.
