Abstract

Digital platforms have become the priority of young people in general, in all fields, being the most effective field for expressing their issues and problems, articulating their demands and needs, showing their creativities and innovations; and presenting their  products and stories to the public. Such digital platforms have become an alternative reality to their daily activities. The official and specialized institutions have taken care of youth affairs, on a global level, concentrating on these platforms by supporting them, developing the skills of young people, organizing them on planned and non-random engagement with them; and making use of digital platforms ' advantageous role in communication.

Despite the lack of institutions concerned with developing and improving digital capabilities, digital platforms, in Iraq, have begun to establish a new and influential communication phenomenon in the local community. This was achieved by the efforts of the young groups that created these platforms, producing contents that caught the attention and attraction of the public, who interacted with, and followed them.

Hence, the importance of the current study titled (Digital Platforms' Interests in Iraqi Youth Issues) comes from the necessity to determine the effectiveness of these platforms in expressing Iraqi youths' issues in the political, security, social, educational, cultural, economic, financial, health and awareness fields, as well as youth skills and innovations, through A set of digital, journalistic and dramatic formats.

The study, which the Future's Voice Digital Platform was considered a spatial field for, seeks to find out the level of the platform's interests in the Iraqi youths' issues. It attempts to identify the most prominent ones with their topics, especially in light of the conditions of social divergence that Iraq committed to under the Corona pandemic, through the temporal domain of the sample. It concluded with clear demand for these platforms in taking care of the issues and needs of the Iraqi youth community.
