This research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a generative artificial intelligence-based training program in developing command engineering skills and producing model e-lessons plans for middle school teachers, and to identify their attitudes towards the program. The research adopted a quasi-experimental design with a single group, using pre- and post-tests, and a descriptive approach to measure attitudes after training. The main sample consisted of thirty middle school teachers in Jeddah. The research used an evaluation form for the e-lesson plan product and an attitude scale towards the program. The results showed statistically significant differences favoring the post-test in command engineering skills and in the dimensions of e-lesson production, namely objectives, content, activities, assessment, plan integration, and final quality. The overall mean for command engineering skills increased from 8.9333 to 59.300, and the overall mean for plan production skills increased from 24.700 to 58.700. Teachers' attitudes toward the program were very high, with an overall mean of 4.772 out of five. The results indicate an improvement in the measured performance of the participating group and support linking training on generative tools to educational planning tasks and product quality review. The research recommends utilizing the program for professional development, emphasizing human review and responsible use, and monitoring the transfer of skills to practice. It also suggests further studies involving comparative groups, follow-up measurements, and student learning outcomes, within the limitations of the design and sample.References
