Governance in Public Schools

Abstract
This paper explores the reality of governance in public schools and its impact on improving administrative and educational performance through a descriptive-analytical approach. The results revealed an advanced level of implementation regarding the principles of transparency, justice, and commitment to official regulations and circulars. Conversely, the study identified a gap in involving employees in decision-making and the reliance on digital data as a tool for planning. The researcher concluded that the lack of specialized training and resistance to change are among the most prominent current obstacles. Accordingly, the paper recommended the necessity of disseminating a culture of digital governance and activating participatory leadership to ensure the quality of educational outcomes.
