The Effect of the Explanatory Reading Strategy on Developing Creative Reading Skills for Fifth-Grade Primary Students

Abstract
The aim of the current research is to know the effect of the explanatory reading strategy on developing creative reading skills at the fifth primary grade, where the strategy was applied to a sample consisting of (48) male and female students randomly distributed in two groups, the first experimental group (27) male and female and the second control group (21) male and female student. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the experimental approach with two experimental and control groups after she rewarded between the two groups in terms of variables: (age, academic achievement
For parents, grades of the previous year for Arabic language, pre-test of creative reading skills) before applying the explanatory reading strategy and the researcher tried to control the exotic variables that indicated the literature and previous studies, and the researcher used the statistical methods of Mann and Tanny, Cookson, Kay square, Pearson, Fakronbach, Paragraph difficulty equation, An equation that characterizes the paragraph, effective alternatives.
After completing the application of the experiment, it became clear that the experimental group students were superior to the control group students.
