Abstract
The research aims to study reservations on CEDAW (Arab countries as a model). Where the system of reservations to international agreements is one of the modern legal aspects in the field of international relations, which stipulates the right of states to make reservations to some provisions of international agreements in accordance with the general provisions specified by Articles (19-23) of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties 1969. If the right of states to reserve Internationally guaranteed, the legal problem lies In those reservations made by some Arab countries to one of the provisions of the CEDAW Agreement, there is no doubt that making reservations to that agreement may contribute to fragmenting the treaty system that is to be established or to stop the legal effects of some international rules related to women's rights in the face of reserving countries. In this regard, indicating what is meant by international reservations, the legal effect of a reservation on the obligations of reserving and non-reserving countries, the reasons for the reservation, and the materials that have been reserved.
