Combining Digital Art and Fine Art as an Approach to Advertising Design

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify digital art and the possibility of benefiting from it through the combination of computer technology and fine art in the field of advertising design as well, The study population and sample consists of a group of (9) members of the Art Education Department, College of Education, Al Baha University,

The results of the study were that the overall average for the fields of digital art and plastic art as an input to advertising design reached an average of (4.60) with a standard deviation of (0.41) and a very high degree of importance, and that all fields came in very high and their arithmetic averages ranged between (4.59 - 4.63) The field of technical construction of design ranked first with a mean of (4.63) a standard deviation of (0.40) and a very high degree of importance, The results of the study also showed that the total score for the axis of the technical structure of design as an input to advertising design reached an average of (4.63)a standard deviation of (0.40) and a very high degree of importance, The results of the study showed that the total score for the axis of the artistic and aesthetic value of design as an input to advertising design was (4.59) with a standard deviation of (0.42) and a very high degree of importance, There is a direct, statistically significant relationship at the significance level (0.05) between the importance of the artistic construction of the design and the artistic and aesthetic value of the design, The study recommended including digital arts, and their programs and tools, within the programs for preparing male and female art education teachers in colleges of art education. Including plastic arts, its programs and tools within the programs for preparing male and female art education teachers in art education colleges, Issuing periodic bulletins that include introducing art education teachers to everything new in the field of digital and fine arts.
